My stroller journey consists of us borrowing an eddie bauer stroller, using it once and vowing never to use it again, then purchasing a used Bumbleride Rocket 2006 (precursor to Bumbleride Indie) even though my heart was set on the Bumbleride Indie. Although it was a good stroller, it was still NOT the indie. So, after less than two weeks with the Bumbleride Rocket, I FINALLY BOUGHT THE BUMBLERIDE INDIE! YAY! I get a similar feeling of elation whenever I use my Indie as I do putting on my engagement ring!

The Chicco car seat is compatible with the Bumbleride, so you don’t need to get the Chicco cortina if you don’t want an extra stroller. However, having said that, I think the Chicco Cortina is one of the best travel system strollers out there. I really liked mine a lot and used it faithfully until I found Bumbleride. I now use my Bumbleride strollers exclusively. The Chicco car seat fits great in them. The only time I pull out my Cortina stroller now is when I’m going to Sea World, the Zoo, or Legoland or somewhere like that where I will be leaving my stroller outside of an exhibit. I do not want my expensive Bumbleride stolen. However, there are some stroller locks (like bike locks) that you can buy.
